Microsoft is introducing a series of exams for data scientists and analysts! And, you can help us out by participating in the beta process! Our first, 773: Analyzing Big Data with Microsoft R, will be in beta starting January 3, 2017!
Are you a data scientist or analyst who processes and analyzes large data sets using R. Candidates have the following experience with R:
We are opening up 300 beta seats for this beta exam (exam number: 70-773)... This means you can take the exam for free!! BUT... the seats are limited to first come, first served basis. You must register and take the exam by February 28, 2017. We need you take the exam as soon as possible so we can leverage your comments, feedback, and exam data in our evaluation of the quality of the questions. The sooner you take the exam, the more likely it is that we will be able to use your feedback to make improvements to the exam. This is your chance to have a voice in the questions we include on the exam when it goes live.

Remember: There are a limited amount of spots, so when they're gone, they're gone. You should also be aware that there are some country limitations where the beta code will not work (e.g., Turkey, Pakistan, India, China, Vietnam); you will not be able to take the beta exam for free in those countries.
Also, keep in mind that this exam is in beta, which means that you will not be scored immediately. You will receive your final score and passing status once the exam is live.

I'm getting same error "50051: Sorry, we are having a service interruption and we are unable to complete your transaction. Please contact customer support."; could be a problem because I'm not on USA?
VUE has confirmed that they are able to register. There have been intermittent web service timeouts which they will be troubleshooting tomorrow. Please keep trying. You may get lucky. I know this is annoying... we are actively trying to solve the problem.
Liberty, I'm also getting the same error 50051. A few hours ago (maybe 8h) I had difficulty going from the Microsoft Learning MCP site to the Pearson Vue site (other similar error). So this is ongoing for the whole day. I'll keep retrying :(

I'm still receiving the same error. It happens on the screen after pressing the "Schedule Exam" button, when it confirms all the user information before redirecting to VUE, after. To be precise, this is the page where the error occurs: examregistration.microsoft.com/
It only occurs for exam 773, not for any other Microsoft exam.
